BIOGRAPHY
Allie Gee (Glen Burnie, MD) started dancing at the age of 3 at Spotlight Studio of Dance under the direction of Wyndee Hughson-McGovern. Ms. Gee traveled the competition circuit and gained many titles over the years. During her senior year in high school, Allie won the prestigious title and scholarship, Miss Dance of the United States 2010 . After graduation, Allie received a merit scholarship to The Boston Conservatory. Her collegiate training refined her technique and expanded her performance repertoire. She performed works by Jose Limon, Trey McIntyre, Twyla Tharp, among many others. Allie graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2014.
Immediately after graduation, Allie moved to New York City to start work with contemporary ballet company Ballet Inc. Shortly after she started guesting with Art Deconstructed and XAOC Contemporary Ballet.
In August 2014, Ms. Gee joined the Steps Repertory Ensemble, resident contemporary dance company at the world-renowned Steps on Broadway. During her time with the Ensemble, Allie performed works by Francesca Harper, Sidra Bell, Lar Lubovitch, and William Forsythe. She had the honor to perform throughout New York City as well as at Jacob's Pillow.
In May 2016, Allie joined the Tania Perez-Salas Compania de Danza, a contemporary company based out of Mexico City. Working with this company gave her the opportunity to perform at some of the biggest venues in North America including the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Auditorio Nacional. During her time with the company Allie performed all over Mexico, Germany, and the United States.
Throughout her professional career, both in the States as well as abroad, Allie continued to connect to younger generations through her choreography and teaching. Her choreography has won multiple choreographic awards at regional and national competitions along the East Coast. She has worked with many studios in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Additionally, Allie had the opportunity to teach at two colleges in Queretaro, Mexico: the Centro Nacional de Danza Contemporanea and Facultad de Bellas Artes UAQ.
On top of dancing and teaching, Allie can be found pursuing her other passion, modeling. She continues to expands her modeling portfolio with print and runway experience. She can be found in advertisements for multiple clothing lines including ESPRIT, 813 Ottotredici, Pink Memories, Labo.Art, K-Deer Activewear, KOS*USA Activewear, and Akade Wear. Allie also participated in New York Bridal Fashion 2016 and 2017 as a runway model and a FIT model. As of 2022 she is signed with Joy Talent Agency. Allie continues to freelance as well and is currently taking on paid modeling projects in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York City.
In 2017 Allie moved and made Philadelphia her home. Locally she has worked with Eleone Dance Theater, Jim Bunting Dance Company, and as of 2018, is a member of MoDa Movement Co. Currently Allie teaches full time at dance studios in the Greater Philadelphia area and continues to pursue dance performance as well as her modeling career. Allie is currently available for bookings regarding dance performance, modeling, and teaching.
